You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new plasma. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

Hi these can be replaced but it will probably cost as nearly as much as a replacement telly the only chance you have of a cheap repair is if you can buy one that dont work but the screen is ok this is an expensive repair if you buy new screen and get someone to fit it for you.
What i would do is goto repair shop and see if they have any screens in as they often strip broken tellys and keep all the good parts second hand is the only way this worth getting fixed so shop arround you might be lucky somebody might have second hand screen off broken telly
