The first answer seems to address your question however as noted in your article the mode you have is not on AOL's recommended however it does support PPPoE so it may (should?) work. Your router has small NAT table and it's easy to overflow, especially if P2P like torrent used. The only solution to prevent router to drop out connections is reset it periodically or install Router Comamander software (freeware version available). Router Commander prevents router from dropping connections using dynamic NAT table size control.
