Question about Remote Controls
We just bought a new TV (see subject line) and we can't find a 5 digit code that works when trying to program our Comcast cable remote. The box is a DVR 3 Device and the remote programming only lists 5 digit codes. The three listed for Olevia LCD TVs (11144,11240 and 11331) don't work. Also, a forum I was reading suggested 11610 but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?! Thanks in advance,
The code you want is 11610. Buy a remote that can accept this code.

So i tried pushing the cable button twice after putting in the code and it did shut off my television. The problem is I still cannot control volume. Can you help with this?

Try This You will need the DVR-3 remote to do this. There are three codes to try, but I found 11331 worked on my particular model. The other codes are 11144,11240. Turn TV on, aim the remote at your cable box, hit tv, then hold setup button until TV button blinks, then put in the code and the cable button will blink. You should be good to go. If the power does not
shut off when you hit the power button, push cable button twice and then power and it should be okay.
