D link browses only google.com

I would suggest that you go through this guide, it will explain you every step which you need to make to get your modem and internet connection back on track:

1. access your router by typing 192.168.0.1 on the address bar of your browse.
2. click on 'wireless' button on the left side of the page (preview)
3. you can change you SSID (name of your wireless router) to whatever you want to name it
4. choose 'WPA-PSK' on the authentication option
5. enter your preferred password / passphrase
6. confirm your password / passphrase
7. click on 'apply' button

The modem wire should connect to the internet port on the router, the other 4 ports are for your computers.

Try going to D-Link website for firmware upgrade to this model, Also make sure u download the the firmware for the version of windows you are using. In order to upgrade, the router must be hard wired that is connected directly to your modem as unit will not upgrade using wireless connection.

Make sure that everything is set to automatic but no the wireless settings. You should browse for your own signal and connect to it. If it asked you for a network key, you should type in the exact network key from your wireless router

Turn off the firewall in both the router and the modem. try again-- once it is working ...just turn one of them back on..

-- is this working fine before or is this a brand new router

you may try this and see if this help solve your problem

Step 1: Shutdown the computer.
Step 2: reset the router while power on then Unplug the router’s power cable.
Step 3: Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its lights to appear stable.
Step 5: Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights appear stable.
Step 6: Power on the computer on and configure the router settings
Step 7: test the Internet connection.
