I have a linkys BEFSR41 Vers 4 and have a set up called Echolink thats uses port 5198 and 5199 and that has to be set up for port forwearding ..How do i set it up...
Goto your ip adress (Type it in adress bar) Your ip adress is located from www.ip-adress.com type it in, A pop up should come up "ACCOUNT" And "PASSWORD" the info should be
Password: (leave blank)
then, goto "Applications and gaming" click Port Range Forwarding
Should pop up, goto Application space, name it anything (ex. echolink) From 5198 to 5199 Then select Both and for the last part you have to find it from
Start> Run> Type "Command" Then hit enter
Should pop up, just hit "Enter" and alot of stuff should come up.
Where it says IP Address... 192.168.1.2 (Will be different for you)
That is where you put it on the last blank from your portforwarding!!
Hope I helped
