Question about Pioneer CDJ-1000MKII CD Player
this thing was working fine, while it was on, i was moving the cdj, i lifted it up at a 60 degree angle had it in that position for maybe 2 secs, and then i saw the main LCD display just shut off.
since then, the LCD display does not show anything or turn on. everything else seems to be working but i just can't see anythign!
please, if you can tell me what happened, or how i can solve this.
how much would it cost to repair? ahhhhhhh
This is a tricky one. There is a very small/thin ribbon cable which connects the LCD display to the main board. If this shifted, or came loose - highly unlikely, but possible - it might explain the issue you are having.
You will have to open it up to see if anything is loose, or not properly connected.
Or, I would suggest taking it to a qualified service center for repair. If the LCD is not damaged, shouldn't be too expensive. If the LCD just burned out, then look to spend about US$120-160 for the repair, including parts.
