Audio driver of window 7 for asus motherboard model P4P-800 VM

There is no official Sound Drivers for Win7 for your ASUS mobo P4P-800 VM intergrated "Sound Max" drivers.

You can try the workaround to install the drivers to your new OS on your PC from this FORUM SITE.

Good luck.

Check if the correct device is set for default output

Click Start
Control Panel
Select the correct speakers and set as default (like described as Realtek High definition Audio)

if you double click them, you can also change some settings there, I recommend you disable enhancements.

Finally, with the realtek driver comes a little application that runs in your tray (usually and orange speaker) verify settings there as well

Good luck, hope this helps

Oh yes, I have the exact same issue, turns out that asus messed up the bios, on some models (not mine) simply updating the bios worked. On mine i had to install a PCI soundcard or not use my highend videocard and go back to the built in one.
