Question about Samsung CLP-510 Laser Printer
My printer prints a black (or colored) 1 inch thick series of vertical stripes down the left side of the paper about 90% of the time. (Occasionally, I get lucky and no stripe appears at all). If I'm printing more than 1 sheet of paper, it usually appears after the first couple sheets, and gets worse with each one. Solution? Help!
The following can cause bands (vertical on a normal page)
Faulty Toner cartridge
Faulty Drum Unit
Faulty Transfer Belt
Damaged or dirty LSU glass
I've also seen this sort of thing caused by a crusty build-up of toner on a wiiper blade on the Transfer Belt, and or Drum.
