My son inserted a DVD disc upside down now dvd player won't open. When you push open it says open on the screen but nothing happens.

Ur disk is not readable to the laser eye.
That why u can't open the disk tray.
Must take it aparts to take out the disk.
U just hope the laser eye not damage.
