Question about CyberLink Power DVD 5.0 (cd-powerdvd5) for PC

Using DVD drive

When trying to install Microsoft Flight Simulator from DVD, although I have a RW DVD in my computer, it can not find the DVD for some reason. Before, I have installed software to be able to play DVD movies. Would be very grateful for any assistance you could offer.

When I try to install an add-on for flight simulator from the company Just Flight, this is the error message that shows up about the Adobe air installer that is used to install the add-on:'The app

You might uninstall adobe air restart your computer then run the chkdsk utility

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools click check now click start two boxes

automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart

You might only tick in the one box to automatically fix files

have no input while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may further damage your computers Operating System and Hard Drive.

This might take some time depending on the size of your Hard Drive and the amount of data on it be patient.
JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again.

Then reinstall Adobe Air right click on the program select run as administrator

Hope this helps

How do I copy a dvd-rw to a dvd

You will have to copy the contents of the DVD-RW to your computer's hard drive. Then replace the DVD-RW with a blank DVD+-, and burn the contents you copied onto it using your burning software of the built in Windows burning software.

Dowloading fs2004 with daemon

Hi elago
Don't fear griffin is here.
First thing mounting a file(image of a cd) means loading the file to the virtual drive which is created by your daemon tool.Go to daemon tool in the task bar ,rt click ,see an option asking no of virtual drives u want maybe 1 or 1 or 2.
This will result in found new hardware utility to work automatically and new drives will be formed in your My computer panel.
Now ,again go to daemon tool and according to the drive name mount the image(which are in the format .nrg/.iso/.bin/.mds/.ccd) from your system onto the drive.
now you will have flight simltr cd in ur drive and can install from it easily.
Happy crashing
waiting for ur fixya.

Need to set up my laptop with DVD RW drive to burn DVD

Yes, you can install the cd with the Nero Software in the new Laptop, and you will be able to write CDs or DVDs, but if you have a combo only you will only be able to write/burn CDs but read DVDs no problem.
ciao Ed.

DVD writer read but doesn't burn

You are going to have to use the ‘rule-out’ method to begin; remove your DVD-ROM and only install your DVD-RW drive as master; see if that solves the problem (a side-note; burners should be set to master and the other drive should be slave).
It will help you if you need the latest FIRMWARE for your drive.
