Problem for Motorola SB5100 SURFboard DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem...

My modem keeps losing internet connection

My Motorola modem keeps losing internet connection repeatedly. The receive light stays on and the send keeps blinking, but the online light remains off. It has just happened recently and it drops the connection at random times for around 10-20 minutes before it is able to reconnect. Any ideas why?

Update your drivers and then do a speed test. Most isp send updates to the subscribers when they update, yours may not. Don't forget to check all of your connections before wasting time calling your isp. I trust this test the most. Rember you don't always get what you pay for.
