Looking 4 the codes for starview 4 super usb as sky and movie channels both gone. Only got box on Friday! What a joke!

I had the same problme on my Starview 1 lost all sprts chanels and movie chanels. To day it wont let me watch Movie chanels and Overs on my Chipped V+box but it still lets me watch Sky sports and Espn. Have you tyred to do factry defaults settings on the starview box that can sometimes help. And make sure you turn EMU on.

couple of months before i put the parental control password on my "the box super usb" but since last month on 2nd December the box goes off only few channel coming, i want to reset the box to factory setting but failed because i forget the password if any body knows about the how to reset the box on factory setting, i will be thankful to you and also any body know the codes for box. thanks

sky sports and sky movies have moved to nagra 3 so there probably won`t be a fix soon/ ever for those!! have you used the V1.12 file yet? you must d-load it to a usb stick and then flash the box with it(insert at the back of the box,but make sure the box is switched off from the back).hope this link helps

It Has Recently Come To Our Attention That A Few Of Our Customers Have Recently Been Experiencing What Seems To Be Power Supply Related Issues With The Starview 4 USB Receiver. This Infact Is Actually A Software Related Issue & Is NOT Due To A Premature Hardware Failure Or A Premature Power Supply Failure.

As A Precaution, We Are Requesting That All UK & EIRE Owners Of The Starview 4 USB Receiver Upgrade To the Latest Software Version With Immediate Effect To Prevent Any Issues.

This Is In Your Own Interest & Must Be Adhered To Ensure All Warranties Stay Valid.

The Software Must Be Copied To A Good Quality USB Memory Stick & Can Be Installed By Pressing A Few Buttons On The Remote Control.

Please Do Use A Good Quality USB Memory Stick, To Prevent Any Firmware Corruption On The Receiver. This Will Prevent The 8882 Error From Being Displayed On Receivers Front Display Panel.

press 1570.

look down list to make sure EMU is set to ON . press ok.
code screen service provider tab should be 5A01.

00. go to the bottom of screen and change the codes saving each code entered.

go to the 00 tab and press right to 01. go to the code tab and change codes saving each code as entered.
