Blue Tint Right side of screen

I have a blue tint right side of screen. I changed the bulb but that was not the issue. I remember something on the net about a video card be the problem. I have a Wega KF 50we610 approx 4 years old.

Re: Blue Tint Right side of screen

You have dust on the lcd image plate and about all you can do there is take it too the shop. Unless you have an expensive dust free enviroment and know how to dismantle the light engine...
It's not an expensive fix for a qualified shop - call around and explain what you have here in your post. A good shop will know what this is right away...

Philips tv's have always had this problem. Between the picture tube and focus lens there is a layer of coolant fluid. The coolant fluid, over time, will break down and turn a brownish cloudy color and it usually starts with the blue. Something to do with the color frequency. Have a good repair shop check it out and if the fluid is the problem have them change all the fluid in all 3 picture tubes (there is a red, green and blue tube). Don't feel bad, like I said all the philips projo's had this problem. Thanks
