I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same model of machine left to me in a house I moved into. I've no instruction manual. The hot water feed is connected to a spur off the hot water pipework in which there is abundant hot water. The machine will neither take water from this feed nor heat the water itself. Can anyone offer any advice more insightful than just making sure everything is connected and on?

Check connections to solenoid valve. If no go just replace water solenoid valve.

Note: cold water valve fails first, it gets most use, if only using cold water, you can simply swap the hot and cold hoses at the tap, and swap the hot and cold electrical connectors on the solenoid valves, the hot solenoid is now the cold one and the washer can be used, cold only.

Premm, I can't find any reference to the online manual you mentioned. When disconnected, water passes through both hot and cold hoses under considerable pressure. The filters on the machine side of the hose fittings seem just as clean for hot as cold. Can there be a physical barrier inside the machine? Could it all be airlocked or something?

Maybe the pipes are not connected to the heater on the wall. You could heat your water in the machine, if there is a provision; most machines have it.

First close your wall inlet, disconncet machine hoses; check to see if water comes from the wall inlet & if the valve works. If if is okay clean out screens on both ends of the hose/hoses.
