Either the flip assembly has a problem with the ribbon cable and needs a flip assembly replacement or the LCD screen is defective, replace the flip assembly if not its the main board, either case the phone has to be swapped or replaced ( flip assembly first if not then whole phone or main board.
Good luck and please rate and vote for me if I was of any help. Thanks.
Moto RAZR phones are notorious for this. Best thing to do - Get a new phone. Inside of the hinge, there is a sensor that detects if the phone is open or shut. When you open the phone, it still thinks its closed, so the screen stays white, and if im correct the outside display should still work. Pretty much not-fixable unless you know someone who can take it apart and re-position the sensor (will void the warranty)
lcd display problem.. has something to do with the fons flexcable from the board to the lcd..if ur lcd has a crack or a spoiled liquid, then im affraid u must replace the whole lcd screen.here in the philippines we can repair it...
My sister had the same problem with her Razr. There was nothing she could do herself. She had to return it to the telephone company where she got it. I beleive they sent it to Motorola. It seems to be a pretty common issue. It's hardware related though.
