Cannot connect although plugged in

Check the ipaddress. Type ipconfig in command prompt. Then ping a website in command prompt if u get proper ip address e.g 10.132.147.121. Try to ping www.google.com in command prompt. If u are unable to connect. Tried to release renew Ip address.
Type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew in command prompt. If you are able to ping google and still unable to connect to website using internet explorer, then issue with browser or with OS.
