Question about Mag Innovision LT982s 19" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Monitor help Hello...I had to install a blank hard drive in my desktop, and since I've done that, my "plug and power" MAG innovision monitor's display is HUGE!! I'm assuming it's b/c my hard drive doesn't have the driver it needs, but I don't recall ever needing one for my bunk hard drive... I've downloaded the driver from this site, but I don't know which files to install...nor do I know my monitor model # (it's a flat panel 19", that I've had since Christmas '04) Thanks!

Re: monitor help

With or without the drivers, you can still try lowering your display properties (resolution and refresh rates) PC side. Should this not be sufficient, please post back the brand/model of your computer or at least the video card that is being used.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

There are several Mag monitors that use external AC adapters that plug into the VGA cable. Look on the blue connector and you should see the hole where the adapter plugs. The adapter is 12v 5 amp such as this one.

It is the picture picture board on your monitor that is malfunctioning, since the power led or button is on, but the display screen goes blank, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity or any service center to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate issues.

Take care.

It sounds like it is trying to re-synchronize it self and not going back the the default setting. Compare the resolution of the game to your monitor capabilities.

Power light flashes with no display

That usually means that the connection between the PC and the monitor has been interupted- check that the cable (probably has blue ends) between the two is firmly connected, and power it back up. If that doesn't work, you have one of three problems; a broken VGA cable, a broken monitor, or a broken video card. Finding out which- you'll actually need someone tech-savvy there to help you figure that out. Try plugging the monitor into a different computer. If that fails, use a different VGA cable (cables are pretty cheap at, and if that fails, it's your video card.

MAG Innovision LT456s monitor power issue.

If you ask them nicely they just might tell you, else it's only $5 for a user manual(sorry no luck online); this link has a picture that maybe shows a power cable going to the bottom right (as you look at it) but it's hard to be sure; this link shows what the power lead should be like - look for a hole that matches; Hope this helps, if not ask again :)
