Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
When I open the pS2 slim model. There is a black circle piece, my son broke the piece while he was inserting one of is games. Is this piece replaceable, if so, how much does it cost and whats the name of the piece.
This is the piece that spins when a game is loading.
Its called a spindle and you might have to replace the whole spindle motor assembly. Search online for one, there are loads of sites selling PS2 part (make sure you get the right model number or your new part might not work).
Alternately, if there are any computer/electronics fairs in your area you could try there. I needed a spindle motor for a scrap machine I was refurbing a few months ago and bought one from a computer fair for £2.
Here is a video tutorial on how to take your PS2 apart to replace the bit.

Form your post I can clearly know that you don't have any
problem with your Play Station.
The problem might be with the Digimon world 4 Disc. You should
buy a new digimon world 4 DVD orginal or pirated it up to ur choice. if not you
can download the game iso file from this link http://www.gamestorrents.com/eng/ps2-game-digimon-world-4-english-english-descargar-torrent-3103.html
and write it to a DVD with the help of software like DVD decrypter. Dvd
decrypter can b downloaded from the following link http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/.
