How do I get to Tech Rep Service Mode on Minoltas to clear C0500 error code?

I'm getting error code C0500 on my Minolta. Your posted fix for this problem was as follows:

C0500 refers to a low fuser temperature. You can attempt to clear the code by using the tech rep service mode.
Go to "Counter"
Go to "Trouble"
Trouble reset
If "warm Restart Swich" is asked for- This can be actuated through a small access hole on the right side of the control panel, using a straightened paper clip or something similar.

How do I get to Tech Service mode in order to go the"Counter" and tehn to "Trouble"?

With this error code on the screen all my keys are locked-up.

I appreciate your help & email to "hooman0614@aol.com"

Many thanks in advance.

Also ensure that the right side door is proplerly closed check the plastic latches on the right side door!!!!!! ensure they are not broken cC0500 code indicate that the fuser the hot thing is not getting the 117V-120VAC that is required to heat the lamps. this is because when the right side door is not closing to actuates a sw in front of the machine can not be seen.

You don't use Service mode for a c0500 code on a di151 use the stop button power off the machine hold stop down power on. Then power off then power on if it come back replace the fusing unit the hot part. DO NOT REPEAT reset can cause a fire!

Error Codes

Well the C0500 code is the code that is given when the fusing unit is bad (THE HOT PART) to reset that code need to go to the rear remove top rear cover and press the small black button on the control board lower left. The C0400 is Exposure Lamp the bright lite under the big glass. Might need to get a new one try web site below as for the C0500 if it comes back do not reset get Konica Minolta rep to look at the fuser unit. IT can catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day. If parts required see the web site below for a start Precision Roller Printer Toner Cartridges Parts and Supplies Office...

Konica minolta EP2010 error code c05

I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)

I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05" appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).

I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).

It worked perfectly!7df26b9.tif

You may need to clear the counter by pressing "clear" and then "end".
After clearing the code, power cycle the copier. If it comes to "ready" you are all set. If not, you may have a blown heat lamp or thermal fuse which would need to be replaced by a technician. Good Luck!!"
