It is possible that the heatsink compound has annulled and no longer working as it should. Most companies use a cheap Aluminum Oxide heatsink compound that is prone to this issue. I would suggest remounting your heatsink with new Silver based compound (I use a brand called Artic Silver, but I am not sure if it is available there). Please be aware that this can be a difficult procedure and if done improperly can cause worse issues with your PC.

GE electric dryer 1 year old

Most likely motor is bad. It runs a little while, overheats, and shuts off. After cooling down it will restart and repeats process.

Computer motherboard shutting down and restarting again automatically.

My computer was shutting down anywhere from one second to thirty minutes and then automatically restarting.
I eventually found that the motherboard had a dead flying-ant laying on the motherboard and causing a short with sometimes variable resistance, hence the variation in shut down times.
Cleaned the flying insect off and has been working fine since.

Had a similar thing happen a few years' ago and it was the same thing.

If I don't heat or cool down my dog house with an air conditioning unit, is it dangerous for my dog?

Obviously it depends how extreme the temperatures are where you live, but in general when dogs seriously overheat, they are at risk of a stroke and when they get dangerously cold, they are at risk of hypothermia and frostbite.

Heat problem?

Okay you can check if its overclocked in the bios under advance cpu settings. But 9 times out of ten here if your cpu did overheat and got hot enough you may have damaged it.

1. Try another cpu if that works replace
2. try the cpu in another motherboard if that works replace the main board as it could have gotten hot enought to damage the north gate.

I am sure the if you got errors well after compuding it you do have a overheated cpu and replacing it would shore this up dramatically.

I bid you good luck with your computer please do rate the solutions.

A few problems

the lines are either a bad screen or a bad graphic card. overheating could be related because it does happen when the chip overheats.

Overheating

Basically every computer and laptop has a processor inside
That processor gets extremely hot when on however there
Is a heat sink with fan which cools it at all times.
Over the years dust builds up around the fan and heat sink
And blocks the air vents preventing cool air from coming
In and out. This causes the processor to overheat and
The reason why it’s shutting is because your laptop
Is doing so automatically to protect it.

To sort this out, you should switch off your pc or laptop
Remove the cover and access the heatsink and fan
It will need to be cleaned with a brush or an air-can
Properly and once this is done air should go in and
Out easily without overheating.

It is also recommended to add thermal paste
To the top of the processor however
You’ll need to remove the heat sink completely
For that. Making sure it is applies 100% back
On the processor.

Overheating is serious and must be taken care of

Asus P4B 1.7 mhz P4 motherboard restarts every 10-15 minutes...

Check the CPU temprature from the BIOS. Sometimes if the CPU overheats the system will automatically reboot. High CPU tempratures goes form (60-70). You can also monitor the fan speed and cpu temprature using this utility
