Right click my computer go to properties then goto hardware then device maneger check the usb to make sure it is instaled corectly

Press the button on the back of the mouse to free the battery cover on top.
Remove the battery cover and put the supplied AA battery into the mouse.
Replace the battery cover.
Insert the wireless USB dongle into a USB port on the laptop or desktop computer.
Move the mouse and watch your computer screen.
Confirm that the mouse is connected by making the cursor move.

Remove the battery of the mouse and install new one and then press connect button from the mouse side and the receiver side also. Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
