FL is a flooded machine most likely due to a bad drain pump. See my solution under this web sites solved problem section for the question "Washer displays FL code." My solution is dated 9-29-2007 and tells where to purchase pump and motor, now a one piece unit, and how to remove and replace. Good Luck

Pioneer VSX830K FL OFF blinks display shows AMP OVERHEAT.

You need to determine what is overheating. For example if it uses a fan is that working? It it blocked with dust.
Operating the unit with the top cover off will quickly tell you which part is overheating. You can wait till it shuts down, then carefully, with it now unplugged, search for the hot parts. If you find only one overheating on it's own replace it.
Don't burn yourself!

When trying to wash a load my washer is starting to fill and then shows the DO code "door open." when I shut it off the door will not unlock. I tried changing cycles and it is also showing an...

First of all, try unplugging it from the AC for about 30 Seconds. Then, plug it back in and wait 30 Seconds or a little more, to see if the Door unlocks. If it doesn't, find the Instructions that came with the Washer and look at the testing Procedures for your Machine. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you may have to call for professional Help.

The "FL" Code probably means that the Motor isn't turning. You probably have a Board that is bad. The Troubleshooting Guide will help you determine if it is the Motor Control Board or the Main Board. Good Luck.

My kenmore elite calypso washing lights on the front panel will not light up.i push the choice i want then it reads FL and all it does is hum and beep.even when off it will beep and read FL.i will turn it...

The FL error code means:
Flood Condition:
FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

This problem I see on these are the water pumps getting clogged with lint or other things, causing the pump not to pump all of the water out at times.

There is a check "valve" in the drain assembly that seems to sometimes cause problems with the FL error code. You can remove this piece, and might avoid changing the pump.

F10 error on kenmore elite electric built in model 790.4907

Try unplugging the unit from the wall, wait 5 minutes and replug back in. I had same thing happen to me a few months ago. I had to leave my stove/oven unplugged for 24 hours to finally get it to reset itself. It is working fine now.

The Timer Window shows FL and the washer stops after filling.

I unplugged the washer for 20 minutes, plugged it back in, the same FL message appeared, so I slammed the door (as a last effort to attempt to overcome the problem of door failing to close before I would decide to call a repairperson). Following the sound slamming of the door, the washer has worked just fine through the last five loads.

Maytag Neptune front load washer with FL code

The "FL" is indicating that the door has failed to lock or it locked but the control does not sense the door has locked.

It could be caused by:
faulty door lock solenoid
loose wire connection
faulty door lock switch
faulty door lock sense switch
bad control board

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer.
but try this first just in case....unplug it for 1 minute plug back in and see if the fault code clears.
good luck.

F7 Code and stove beeps

F7 Function key shorted or stuck button Replace touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC) or attempt to un-stick button F7 Shorted key sensed for 32 seconds 1. Membrane shorted, or,
2.
Display board defectiveIf touch pad is a separate unit then unplug it and see if code comes back.  Unplug range before doing so.  Once touch pad is disconnected, plug range back in and see if code shows.  Wait a few minutes.  If no code then replace touch pad.  If code does come on while touch pad is disconnected then replace main control.  If touch pad and main control are all one part then replace the whole control.  Doubt if you would have any luck trying to unstick the bad button as stated above.
