My hotpoint washing machine mod WWSR1070D5WW is making a loud squealing noise but I cant tell if the sound is coming from the clutch or the transmission any ideas?

look at the drive belt, it might be worn out
To test, just put some tar all along the inner face of the belt and run it
If noise goes off, , most surely the belt need replacement

New Holland 70a will not move in gear

if your talking about a TN70A that's a 4wd drive machine , and its got a wet clutch on it , that means it works via hydraulic pressure , make sure your oil is clean and not cloudy so it works clutch well , second that transmissions got sight plugs along the top sides , that can be removed with socket wrench to view shaft moving inside with flashlight looking for broken shaft , if all axles are not moving , then id look at clutch , if only one axle or wheel is not moving then id look 4 broken axle key , they do break sometimes on 4wd machines that the axles get in a bind on , other than replacing the oil in it , all these are shop repairs your not going to be doing them in the field

Hello Jye,
It does sound like either the clutch is bad or the Motor coupler is bad. I have included a video showing how to replace the coupler Kenmore Washing Machine Model 110 22642100 11022642100 110 22642100 Parts

Squeaking washing Machine during spin cycle

Hi
Loks that your machine is pretty old and hence the belt has hardened making a squeaking noise.
Good fix is get a new drive belt.
OR
Quick fix is you could put some oil on the drive belt..... it will work for now but not a permenant solution.

Briel machine doesn't work

This might sound silly, but are you sure the water tank is well snapped into place. A strange sound does occur when the water tank is empty, but if the water tank valve is not tightly in place, it might stop the water from going through.

Speakers only play cd's

Please look in your Start Menu, go to Control Panel, then into Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices. See near the left, and select Advanced Volume Control. Turn up the inputs for the other sounds that you want delivered out to those speakers. Later adjust the levels a little higher if at first the mix of the sounds is not quite loud enough from one or several of the sound sources. Also in Control Panel, Sounds, you can mute out or eliminate annoying unwanted system sounds such as sounds for minimize and maximize a computer window, and the click that occurs when the computer does Complete Navigation -which it does a lot. Go into Sounds and Audio Devices, and into the Sounds tab. Select the Windows Program event such as default beep and click pick NONE from the sound chooser scroll bar that is just below. Scroll up to NONE to eliminate that sound. Now your overall sound experience will be more pleasant, without unneeded sounds playing loudly, unexpectedly.

2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start !!!

Could be a problem with the clutch pedal switch. I'd have a look under the dash first to make sure no wires have been knocked of the pedal switch. If there's no sound, not even a clunking sound it may be the solenoid. I'd first want to eliminate the pedal wiring. Remove the small wire on the starter (most likely a spade type terminal) and using a piece of insulaated wire attach it to the starter where you removed the spade. Flick the other end of the wire on the positive of the battery. If the starter operates your looking at the pedal switch/ relay fault. If not its the starter. MAKE SURE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL BEFORE TRYING THIS. Ignition switched off. That way it will crank but not start.
Cheers John
