Question about HP Compaq Business Notebook NX9010
I am having problem with my laptop HP compaq nx9010, when i turn on my laptop it gives a beep, its automatically entering y key. if i remove key board also its happening. when i remove touch pad then its fine, is it a motherboard pro
From what you are saying, it sound more like a problem with the touchpad rather than the motherboard. But, I have no idea as to why, or how, the touchpad would have anything to do specifically with the "Y" key.
Can you leave the touchpad unconnected and attach an external mouse? If everything works with that setup, I'd say that you do have a touchpad problem.
Is there any observations that you have made regarding this problem? Anything that may help in further diagnosing this problem?
