My maytag Neptune washer stops running and a code "nd" is in the display with the chime audible warning, what should I do?

And means no drain hopefully your drain or drain hoses is clogged
Unplug machine for 10 minutes.
If doesnt work something is stuck in your pump lots of water will come out if you choose to remove back panel so be ready a shop vac is a good thing to have on stand by keep machine unplugged
You can see in the pump if you see the obstruction take it out
If not turn the large knob counter clockwise freeing the pump from the drum .clear debris.reinstall put back together as was.plug in any wash as normal

Does not seem to drain completely - ran very long today and the last code I saw was "nd" - not draining? or not done?

nd code indicates a problem with draining. The problem could be:
1. Clog in the drain hose - 2. Drain pump in the washer needs replacement 3. Clog in your sewage
Some simple things to try out
a. Run a wet/dry shop vac at the end of the drain hose to clear out any crud/cloth debris. b. Replace the drain hose altogether (will require a bit of work). Remove the back panel (small) that holds the drain hose in place and disconnect the clamp that connects to the drain hose to thepump outlet. The whole drain hose can be purchased for under $20 at your local hardware store...
Good Luck!

Sounds like the house drain can't handle the output from the washer's pump. Try to use the proper amount of detergent to reduce suds level. You might have to increase the size of the hose drain spout with duct tape so that it fits into the house drain tightly. Hope this helps!

Maytag neptune front load washing machine will not fully discharge water after the rinse cycle...HELP???

Check the drain hose and clear it from any debris that might be blocking the water from draining out completely. If the drain hose is clear of debris, check and clean the pump. Disconnect the machine from the power outlet before servicing for safety purposes.

Remove the rear access panel to access the pump and disconnect the wiring harness from the terminals of the drain pump and the pressure switch.

Loosen the clamps holding the drain hose and the tub hose to the pump assembly. It is a good idea to spread a towel under the pump before loosening the clamps.

Remove the hoses and rotate the pump assembly counterclockwise to release the pump assembly support legs from the keyed slot in the base of the washer. Remove the pump assembly from the washer.

Clear the pump impeller from any debris that might be causing it to work improperly. Clean the tub and the drain hose.

Reassemble the pump, the hoses, and reconnect the wires to the terminals of the pressure switch and the drain pump. Reinstall the rear access panel and run the machine.

Replace the pump (part #25001052) if water still do not drain out completely.

Remove the plastic bag covering the pressure switch. Press in the locking tabs on the back of the pressure switch and pivot the pressure switch off the pump bracket.

Grasp the pressure switch and lift the nipple of the pressure switch from the pump cap.

Install the pressure switch into the new pump assembly in reverse of the steps above.

Maytag MAV4755AWW. Water remains in clothes after spin cycle.

Check the drain hose for kinks and clear it from any clogging. If no clogging or kink is found, drain the water manually.

Remove the rear access panel to access the drain pump. Press the hose clamps and move it away from the pump. Remove the hoses from the pump and drain the remaining water from the tub drain hose into a shallow pan.

Lay the machine on its side on a cushioned surface to allow easy access and removal of the drive belt.

Remove the three screws securing the drain pump to the base of the machine. Check the pump impeller for any damage and clear it from any debris that may be preventing it to pump the water out. Replace the drain pump (part #35-6780) if the impeller is damaged. Secure the new drain pump to the base of the machine with the three screws and reinstall the drive belt and the rear access panel.

Note: Disconnect the machine from the power outlet before servicing to avoid the hazard of electric shock.

Maytag dwc7400abw

you have a blockage somewhere probably. if the drain hose plumbed in under the sink, check there is no blockage in this area. also check the drain hose for blockages. if all clear, the fault is probably the drain pump itself
