Since i inserted a new sim to the cell my outgoing and incoming isnt working when called to the no. it shows switched off and while calling am unable to connect to any number. what would be the problem can anyone help pls.
If ur phone is cdma network.... you cant use it with a simcard of gsm network and vice versa.....
sometimes phones are locked to a particular network.... so if you move away from that network and try to access ur phone in another network in another location it wont be accessible....
for example some samsung mobiles can be used only in middle east and not outside the place.... coz they are locked to that network....
also if the above is not ur case ....some sim cards take some time to activate....
the only option for u at this point would be to use the old sim card that u were using and when the fone actually worked.... in the same location where u had it working.... if its working.... and ur able to calls and receive them there is nothing wrong in ur phone..... you will have to contact ur service provider (network) for activating the new sim on ur mobile....

Actually its a cdma sim that was used earlier and the same cdma sim but with a new number is tried this time and its not working. The one earlier used was an tata indicom and the same is being tried now too but with another sim of tata indicom. I just cant understand why one sim works where as another of the same brand doesnt?
