Re: System corrupt made of virus and spyware

If you are having an issue with a virus go to: and run the scans. Try to remove any viruses found.
If it is a virus call Microsoft and they will help you remove it. It shouldn't cost to remove a virus.

My computer is enfected the virus, how to delete this virus

first you need to know the name of the file that is on your that your anti-virus app tells you the name. then if your anti virus app cannot remove the file you can try to enter your computer in safe mode do a file search for the name of the file on your computer then delete it and flush your recycle bin.
however, if you do not have an anti virus then what makes you think that you have a virus on your computer? you may have spyware on your computer instead and anti virus apps can see the bug but cannot remove them! so this is why you need both an anti virus app and an anit spyware app to keep your computer clean.
if you have internet access there are 2 free anti virus and anti spyware apps that you download all you have to do is register them online with a valid e-mail account and get them for free! AVG is a good anti virus and Spybot search and destroy is a good anit spyware and they are both free.

Computer very slow ,won't print, forever to load pages, have corrupted files

Several things can slow down the computer: overheating, spyware, not enough RAM etc. If you know for sure you have corrupted files were they corrupted by a virus? You may need to reinstall Vista.

Is it slow when you boot up in safe mode? To boot into safe mode hit (usually) F8 while it is booting up. Let it completely boot into safe mode and then reboot again. Now is if it is behaving better.

To get rid of spyware download the free Spybot Search & Destroy from the net, run the update and then run it to dectect and get rid of the spyware. Spyware tries to send info which can slow down everything.

Overheating - does it feel hot? Is the fan running and pushing air?

If it worked fine before it is unlikely you don't have enough RAM. Windows itself needs at least 256mbs to run well without running other problems.

Again if you know files are corrupted, if they are windows files, you might need to reinstall vista.

Computer running slow

In my opinion, A good anti-virus is AVAST. A good spyware program is Spybot. Malware I recommend Malwarebytes.
1. Scan your computer with Spybot then restart,
2. Now scan your computer with Malwarebytes
and delete whatever comes up. restart
3. Now try scanning your computer with the anti-virus protection.
Hopefully this would of remove some of the viruses and spyware.
Read below for more information.

And for a good Price too........Free.

Helpful Free Software below Read On. If you find any of this helpful, pls rate me. !

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.

FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of
virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.

Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE

Avira AntiVir – Free Anti-Virus Protection

FROM MICROSOFT 2009 -Free --Security Essentials

Pop up Blocker- free

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2 -FREE SPYWARE…

Ccleaner- FREE…

Malware- FREE

$ ***

There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there-ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 ,
I feel that is the best for your money.

Last Resort, would be a Reformat. Use your recovery Cd's.

Viruses normally corrupt your computer. You probably will need to do a Reformat. Be sure and do a Back-up First., because you will loose everything. Restore will not remove Viruses. Best way would be Reformat.

If you know how to do a back-up, save all your documents, pictures and music. If not take it to a reputable computer shop to take of this. There will be a slight charge, but they will save all your important data.
If you find this information helpful, pls rate me.

Good Luck. Thanks :0)

The best antivirus that I am using and its free is ESET.

I was able to rescue a webserver which can no longer be connected thru remote desktop.

You can try that.

Heaps of viruses corrupted files

fixer1950 sorta has the right idea. You do need an antivirus, but I disagree with his choice. Avast has a poor detection rate. You should use Avira if you want a free antivirus or Nod32 if you don't mind paying for one. To get rid of the viruses, run malwarebytes and superantispyware. Then install either Avira or Nod32.
Keep all your software up to date, keep the Windows Firewall on and run ccleaner once a week or so and you should be fine.

I cannot install any application because of virus

Disable system restore

Delete system restore points

Download anti virus and anti spyware applications such as AVG, a squared, spybot search and destroy.

Install them if possible, if not install them in safe mode ( how to get into safe mode ) but making sure to go into safe mode with networking so that you are able to download the anti virus definition updates as well as the anti spyware definition updates and then run scans ( only one at a time ) and that should allow you to remove the viruses / spyware / malwares that are installed on your computer.

Once done I would also advise running an online anti virus scanner such as trend micro ( free website to run anti virus scanner )

If you get stuck post back and let me know.

Error 1721

Try the following regardless of the software as this is the common error message provided by Microsoft. Of course this won't rule out either a corrupt installer or incompatibility's
  1. Disable/Configure any anti-spyware or anti-virus software on your system during installation process. For example: Spybot Search and Destroy Program or Norton Anti-Virus
  2. Check to see if any spyware or adware is installed on your system blocking the completion of install process.
  3. Check to see if you find any unwanted entry in Add/Remove Programs or Internet Explorer - Add/On's section (Tools - Internet Options - Programs -> Manage Add On's). If you found one, remove/disable this entry.
  4. On Windows Vista, disable UAC (User Access Control) feature for your account
