I noticed every time I use the CV-P10NC AC unit it has a puddle of water underneath the unit. It's already soaked my carpet in my home office. The drainage nozzle is closed.
What can I do to fix this issue?

- Hello hmlee390,
I really appreciate your prompt response.
When I open the drainage nozzle and turn the unit on the water is pumped out from the top nozzle. Could the pump still be bad or clogged? Is there something else I should be looking at?
Thanks
earlier models had a pan you had to empty .. your model has a small pump that is supposed to pump the water out the hot air vent (that goes thru the window} .. since its leaking it is likely that the pump inlet is clogged ... you might have to remove a panel to get at that ... it will be near the bottom of the unit (near the drainage nozzle) ... also check the hose that goes out thru the outside vent .. make sure its not cracked, clogged or smashed ... temporarily you can use the drain nozzle to drain off the water to a lower area (it cant drain up without the pump) ...

My Sharp CV 10 portable AC is not cooling. The fan works fine but even 'mega cooling' function does not produce cold air. I 'inherited' the unit and don't have a manual to troubleshoot it. Help!

I live in NYC and have a small room ( about 200 ) with 1 computer server, 2APCs and few work stations running. So during the hot summer hours it is pretty impossible to stay inside. I'm doing my research for portable air condinioner and finally got lost completely with specs and suggestions and reviews. I do not want to get in the window air conditioner because it would block the sunlight from the window. From what I understand 9K BTU should be enough just to keep the conditions sane ( I do not need 50 degrees, a reasonable 75-80 would be enough when 90+ is outside). I also got mixed reviews about dual hose vs single hose. I purchased Royal Sovereign 12K BTU with 1500W and eats up too much electricity while barely making it 80 degrees. Also since I have a server and 4-5 PCs running my amperage goes ceiling high and 15Amps air conditioner is just too much. 9K Haier does not cool at all and did shut down twice because of the drainage. Please let me know what is the reasonable balance between single/dual hose setup, continues run without drainage and efficiency in cooling. Any unit you can recommend. Finally I set my mind on SHARP CV-P10MC, but even that unit has negative reviews because of drain issues. Besides Sharp, I was looking at Delongi models and Royal Sovereign 10K Btu. I'd like to stay within 9-10K btu, 10-12 Amps and $$300-400. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
