Will not allow drag & drop file - menu choice says Disk Error

Trying to access player with Vista Home Premium results in error message ''You Need to format the disk in drive F before you can use it.''

Computer running Win98 will access player, but trying to load a 2031KB file results in error message to effect that file is too big for available space.

Trying to choose a menu item of player view screen results in message ''Disk Error.''

Fm radio is only function that works on this player.
