What kind of car do you have the stereo in? It sound exactly like a bad ground wire. To trouble shoot this, simply find a good clean ground point to hook the black wire from the radio to. you can usualy find somewhere behind the dash that the factory has grounded things to. I asked what kind of car, because some fords, and nissans do not have a ground wire in the factory radio harness, even though the adtor harness you may have used will have one. Hope this helps.

Sony xplod stereo wiring diagram

Yes you need to turn on the BOSE amplifier in the car to hear the sound. The wiring diagram is actually on top of the factory radio
You will need a 12v trigger to turn the amp on. this is assuming you have all the speaker (inputs) connected to the output from your new deck.

JVC KD-LX333 car stereo turns on, but then shut off and wont...

TAKE IT OUT AND TRY IT ON A 12V BATERRY AND IF IT TURNS ON ITS GOOD AND IF IT DOESNT IS NOT GOOD. IF IT TURNS ON FOLLOW UR CONSTAN AND UR POWER WIRES AND SEE IF IT HAS A FUSE BOX IN THE BOAT/ CHECK THOSE FUSES. AND CHECK UR BOAT BATTERY TOO CAUSE IT COULD HAVE DIED WHEN TESTING THE STEREO TOO IT HAPPENS ALOT ON BOATS

Whining noise @ acceleration?

You have a bad ground somewhere. You also may nneed to replace your spark plug wires. The deck is getting interference from the engine due to a grounding problem.

Best of luck

No sound records sony dcrtrv530

I reviewed the owners manual to your camera.

On page 126 it says this:

1)The stereo tape is played back with HIFI sound set to 2 in the menu settings.
Set it to STEREO (see page 79)
2) The volume is turned to a minumum.
Press Volume + (see page 27)
3) Audio Mix is set to ST2 side in the menu settings.
Adjust the audio mix (see page 79)

If one of those 3 options doesn't work, try using an 8mm tape head cleaner.

Overall Problem - Panasonic RX-ED707 won't work properly at all

only 1 reason for that faults :

there is a flat connects the top panel which has all the controls with the other circutes in the stereo...
so you have to open it and care for the cd unit it damage easily then check the flat for loseness or cuts
it happened to me also and that works perfectly
good luck

No sound

you may have a blown speaker...many cd decks will shut off their audio circuits when a speaker is blown to protect from shorting out. Go to the back of the deck and try disconnecting speakers one by one. You will have to turn the deck off and back on each time. Hope this helps!
