Take the E-brake wire coming from the stereo and ground it to any metal part on the car by securing it under a screw.

Run the pbrake wire to ground or to the negative battery wire. You can also throw a switch in between in case you get pulled over. :)

Hope this helps, it did for me!

Run the wire to a SPDT push button switch mounted just under the dashboard. Then run one wire to the parking brake ground and the other to a permanent ground. Use the SPDT switch to go from normal mode to bypassed mode.

My pioneer indash avic d3 wont play dvd's you

this until has a safety feature installed that will not let you view video while in motion. it has a light green wire on the back that is supposed to be connected to the cars ebrake wire so that in order to view video you would have to have your ebrake ingaged. it also allows you to be able to type in address for the navigation. if this wire is not connect or not connected properly, you will get a messages that says drive can not view video will driving..

double check the connection....or you can just bypass it completely. i have attach a link on how you bypass this feature which will allow you to watch video and type in nav address while drivin

Overriding e brake video defeat

There is no e-brake override code. You have to hardwire it to bypass the e-brake. Take the peach-colored wire and ground it to metal inside the dash. Put a toggle switch inline on the wire and mount it somewhere you can reach it. When you get the blue screen when starting a movie, open the switch for 3-5 seconds, then close it again to reapply the ground. Your movie will start up, and you can then drive away with it playing.

toggle switch. attach the wire (thats supposed to go to the ebrake) from the radio to the switch. then a wire from the switch to ground. on my jensen, you need to turn the switch to off for 5 seconds then on and the screen should show your video just fine.

E brake override

Ground the parking brake wire to any metal surface that is handy. Just as solution 2 suggests. I accidently clicked the top "Guest" as the best solution when Solution #2 was the one I meant to click on. Ground it and enjoy!
