Question about LG DU-42PX12XC 42 in. Plasma HDTV
Hi i have a Lg42" plasma 18 months old the screen has red lines going down about a cm apart any ideas how to put right and how much thanks.
This may be in part with the X - Y addressing to the screen. The fault can be a bad ribbon cable, or a failed drive board. On rare occasions it can be the screen itself.
Proper troubleshooting would be required to actualy determine the exact fault.
The cost will not be cheap for this type of fault. For some of these types of faults, the cost can be more than a few hundred dollars to start.
