Re: Washer LG Model WD-8013F Noisy & vibrates badfly when...

I had same problem, the bowl is supported by (2) large springs from the top & two telescoping shock absorbers underneath.
I inverted the machine, found a large hollow retaining plastic bolt had falled out of the shock absorber, causing the bowl to be out of balance & the drive belt to be missaligned.
I reinstated the plastic retaining pin/bolt then tried the machine again.
Now the damn thing refuses to wash or spin.
I'm not happy.

Hi all you poor owners of this heap of junk, i have one too with the same problems, the shaking and moving around the bathroom was stopped by welding a 1/2 inch long piece of 1 &1/2 inch dia pipe to a 2 inch square flat plate of steel then putting double sided sticky tape beetween the plate and the floor
where you want the front rubber legs to sit, this stops it from running around the floor but it still needs to adjusted to have the
same on the front two legs to stop the leaning the machine back a bit also helps to stop it leaking so bad while filling, it is only from the condersation from the hot water going in and the poor design of the soap drawer not allowing the water to run back into the washer which can be fixed by cutting the lip off
the bottom wher the drawer slides in then running a bead of silcone in the crack between the front cover and the inside piece
then another one on the front edge to run the water back into the washer. hpoe this helps. bryan.

Lg intellowasher wd-8013f is very noisy

it will definitely be the bearings and possibly the spider as well. the spider is attached to the bowl. the spider is made of aluminum and they corrode all the time. open the door to the machine and grab hold of the steel bowl, has it got movement on it. if it has then the spider and bearings are faulty, also the main shaft seal will need replacing.nearly every time i went to an LG 8013f that was noisy it was the bearings and or spider. hope this helps. please reply 4 more help. good luck.

Lg intellowasher wd-8013f is very noisy

You suspect right.
It is a complete strip down job. I have just finished mine.
taking apart and reassembling is not too dificult.but you need to make up a tool to remove and replace the bearings which are two different sizes. It consists of a lenghth of studding, bolts and washers.
Download the manual from LG.
Good Luck

An extreme vibration in spin cycle. It makes the

Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.

I have a LG WM2032HW Front Load washer that shakes like crazy! It is level, shipping bolts are removed and it does not matter if the washer is empty, just a small amount of clothes or full!

your problem may be in the shocks or because this machine is very powerfull and spins very fast that the floor is giving (has play) and needs to be supported up from underneath it if u put the machine on a cement floor lock the legs securly to the machine if it spins fine then your floor is the problem
if it still shakes then i would replace the shocks

Washer noisy in spin cycle

It sounds like your drum bearings are about to go. I am not familiar with this model, but I would assume it is pretty much like all other front-loaders. Bearing kits can be purchased for all models but there is a great variance in cost eg. in europe €25-€75. It is also quite a difficult job to undertake for the sunday diy enthusiast as it involves stripping down the machine and removing the drum. If you are going to repair the machine as opposed to replacing it I would strongly advise doing it asap and continued use will cause the bearings to collapse rendering the machine irrepairable. Hope this helps.

Bad vibrations/shaking with LG washing machine WM2032HW

What's the exact model of your washing machine? I'll need this to get you exact part numbers.
If you're looking for a quick and cheap fix that works. Try installing a rubber anti-vibration pad under the washer. I've had the best luck with a pad called Silent Feet. They are pretty hard to find in stores but carries the full line of Silent Feet anti-vibration pads. They will provide you with the best results short of replacing the full shock isolation assembly in the washer. And they cost a lot less.

Front loader vibrates and moves

You shd check the front legs - they shd be a maximum screwed up, that is the machine shd be tilting forwards. Then you adjust acccording to your floor level. The machine should not shake a bit when off, & you try to shake it with both your hands.

A little vibration is normal when the spin starts. Don't forget to rate me nice............

Brown spotting on washed clothes

chances are if you have eliminated anything thats got in by accident that the drum bearings are about to go, the drum bearings are protected by a water seal, this has started to leak and is now washing the grease out of the bearings back into the wash, you may also find a small amount of water on the floor, if you also remove the back and look behind the large pulley you may also see brown water marks running from the center of the outer drum

the next step will be a very noisy spin, like a rumbling noise
