WATER + ELECTRICITY = ICE. ABOVE THE ICE TRAY IS A THICK WIRE LEVER MAKE SURE IT IS DOWN.... WHEN THE ICE LEVEL GETS HIGH, ICE PUSHES THIS LEVER UP AND STOPS THE ICE MAKING CYCLE.

The control arm on ice maker broke off

There is n such reset button,but first check and confirm that water line is running in to the ice maker drawer.Is the water getting into icemaker or not.

ice maker has stop making ice, but you can hear the water going to it, i think it might be frozen up. what is the best way to thaw it out with out turning the whole fridge off.

The ice maker may be bad. Replace it. If you cannot do yourself, call a serviceman.

Replace the water inlet valve . Water is seeping thru the valve when closed . Drops of water seeping thru and freezing inside the fill tube . After replaceing valve , be sure to remove the ice from the fill tube .

Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ic emaker . If it dumps the cubes , then replace the water valve . If it doesn't , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the fridge coils are clean and free of dust , lint , pet hair , etc..

Hi: First off make sure the fridge is level. Is It too high in front? Making the rear of the icemaker overflow and jam? Also make sure the freezer section is a zero degrees, not just frozen. Ice cream should be rock hard. I hope this helps you avoid calling service. Thank You, Jeff

the water line can freezer .. there is a water line heater kit...check the black rubber inlet it may have ice in it...let me know if it helps
