If your problem is the screen of the laptop being upside down, please try to press CTRL+ALT+Up Arrow Key or Down Arrow Key, after you see some flashing or flickering on the screen restart the computer. Sometimes you need to login first on the computer then press the key combination i mentioned then it should fix the problem. Hope this helps. Glad to be of service.
I would turn the laptop carefully upside down making sure that the power cord is NOT connected and remove the battery usually a slide catch or something similar holding it in position
hopefully that will cut all power to the laptop and hence hopefully shut down
when light go out and you can hear nothing then put battery back in and use power cord if needed
Is your screen sideways or upside down? If so, use this:
Just like a ctrl-alt-del except
press ctrl-alt-up arrow
ctrl-alt-down arrow flips it upside down.
ctrl-alt-left and right arrows will rotate the screen sideways.
u need to open the monitor control menu by pressing the menu key on the monitor then select the option showing two bent arrows one facing up and the other down, then adjust.
