Scanner problem of hp laserjet 3030 all in one


I have a hp laserjet 3030 all in one printer.

The scanner of printer is not working properly.Whenever i on the power of the printer, it initilize but scanner of the printer goes one step forword and stops forever.

and this printer is working but the scanner is not so i need the scanner driver to install in my computer b4 the scanner works
so please can you help

Try unplugging the cord to the printer and wait a few seconds and re-plug the cord again , print what ya have to print again/hope this helps .

I wonder if the scanner bulb is not getting enough power to heat up and function properly. Do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector In this document you will see, ISSUE: Problems or issues may arise when an HP LaserJet series printer is connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a power strip, or a surge protector
^ This is not limited to Laserjet printers.
If you have not done so already, I suggest trying a hard reset. To do so, leave the printer on and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, hold down the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release any built up power, then after the minute has passed, plug the printer back in.

If the issue persists, please let me know if you are seeing an error of any sort on the scanner or computer, perhaps the issue is related to the software instead.

Recover the cartridges, en sure there is no 'transportation tape still on the cartridges, if not gently share the cartridges horizontaly whilst also holding it horizontaly. Try again. If it still points incorrectly send it back for a replacement,.

Fail to initializing

The fail to initialize is typically a problem with the document scanner...but not always. here is a quick test you can try. Turn the unit off then power it on again. Slightly lift the copy lid as the unit goes through warm up attention to the light color emitting form the scammer. it starts to blink red, then changes to a bright white IF the scanner is working properly. IF the scanner is NOT working properly the scanner stays RED during the warm up.

Printing not clear & disabling alignment

h o this is because of the catridge problem. check the outlet of the ink....and clean the area with proper clean cloth and check t. may be the catridge got over . so check the level and try printing.

Scanner will not work

Delete the scanner icon and reinstall the driver. It's also possible that your scanner cable is defective.

What does that mean?
scanner should not be connected to anything but the computer.
Did you have the software disk for the scanner?
