Re: button script

Drag a Menu component to the library and create a Button caled file_btn and paste this code into
the script keyframe.
import mx.controls.Menu;
// Create a menu.
var my_menu:Menu = Menu.createMenu();
// Add some menu items.
// Add a change-listener to Menu to detect which menu item is selected.
var menuListener:Object = new Object();
menuListener.change = function(evt_obj:Object) {
var item_obj:Object = evt_obj.menuItem;
trace("Item selected: " + item_obj.attributes.label);
if(item_obj.attributes.label == "Open"){
//do this
}else if(item_obj.attributes.label == "Close"){

}else if(item_obj.attributes.label == "Save"){
//do this

Explorer problelm with flash player

This is a security measure from Microsoft. Without clicking the it, it will not activate. This is done so that malicious Flash scripts/ActiveX scripts can't run automatically. You cannot change that.

I hope this helps.
