Midnight alarm feature never seen before (by 5 users)
radio/cd player is suddenly sounding an alarm at midnight every night, can not find a feature function that will turn it off

same problem, it started about 2 years after install. I removed the battery back up, and unplugged the radio for 1 minute, then replaced the batteries (with new ones) and it works fine. It must be a signal that your back up batteries are dying.

my radiio turns itself on every night at midnight. it used to sound the alarm but now the radio turns on for 2 hours and then turns itself off. I try to remember to unplug it every night but if I forget it will turn itself on and play music. this is better than hearing the alarm but still not ideal. I haven't tried unplugging it and plugging it back in at midnight but I will try that, I would just wake up and turn it off, or sleep through it.

My GE Spacemaker alarm goes off 12:00 midnight.Thanks for the info. I unpluged if for several minutes and reset clock. Will see tonight. Mabey each time it is unpluged it may advance the alarm time. If it goes off at 1:00 AM I may try to unplug six more times. what fun. JJ

Having the same problem. Every night at mignight the alarm sounds. Will try the unplug solution.
