Question about Epson Stylus Pro 4800 InkJet Printer
Latest Vista 64 Driver for Epson 4800 does not find the 1394 firewire port...and you can not assign it manually to firewire, The USB side works ok. I would like to get the firewire connection working. The error you get when you look at the firewire yellow exclamation port is error code 39 and its a plug and play error. The message in dev mgr indicates the driver cant be loaded, may be corrupted etc...then aggter not finding the firewire port the driver reverts to a LPT1 parallel port connection. It may be Epson just didnt do the firewire part of the driver...this works well with XP/SP2.
You can find info from this link EPSON
