Problem for Panasonic DMR-ES35VS

Remote will not control DVD/VHS

It only works with the TV. It was working and suddenly quit. I get no response from the main unit no matter what I press. Remote control code setting guide in manual is of no use, since function is inoperable. Is there a way to acess the setup menu from the main unit?

- Kept looking and found the solution. POWER RECYCLE Unplug the unit and plug it back in. All the remote functions were again activated and then set the remote code.

Tries change with new bateries,clean the The IR infered in the DVD/VHS combo unit,and the remote.
