Same exact problem here. The registry program just won't go away. I'm registered and it acknowledges that, but, still won't close. It's SO aggrivating!

Slow respond

Could be your operating system either has a virus or has become corrupt or there are too many processes running in the back round that are eating up all the memory. You can try some simply fixes such as downloading a program called RegSeeker, this program will allow you to clean your registry and get rid of any unwanted startup programs. It can be found on the web as a free and safe download from here. Just click the blue download button and extract the folder and run regseeker, first clean your registry by running the cleaner and selecting all and deleting them. Then go to startup programs and get rid of any unwanted startup programs running. If none of this seems to help, you will need to reinstall your operating system with the disc, i can walk you through it depending on which one it is.

Go to a better anti-virus program that is free. Go to and dowload Avast. When you install it you can register it as a free version for a year and then re-register it as a free version next year. Avast works very well with the Windows Firewall and it is easily the best anti-virus out there.

These days, you must have a good security system on your PC; get Avast or whatever else you like at
FileHippo, but do not delay. Tell you Mom about Avast *** well; it is better than Webroot in my opinion.

Camera won't work...

Its not unusual for webcam software to remain hooked up to a program, even when you exit the previous program correctly.
The answer is to reboot the webcam software by unplugging your webcam from the USB port for a couple of seconds.

I keep getting a message saying webcam was not found or is not workin properly and to check and make sure it is plugged in right and to reconnect. i did that and nothing. i went to device manager to see if...

If device manager doesnt show the camera with yellow question mark it means that the driver is loaded correctly and windows is confortable with it. Can you open the camera software and see under either file or somewhere in settings if there is a option to select source or change device.

Cant get rid of my freez

If you can not uninstall something, you can to to "run" then type regedit, then find the box that says software and extend it. You should find the program there and delete it. You can also install an uninstall software that may better help you. I also recommend to everyone a free registry cleaner and optimizer that will boost pc performance to the fullest and also remove all the bad stuff. It is called "glary utilities" It also has an uninstall program.

When you installed the cam an OEM program was loaded at least for access to settings. Changing your laptop does nothing to prevent that program. My Philips webcam has a little program called VLounge that enables me to turn it on or off. If that program, which may only be considered a 'process' by Windows prevents me from using the webcam with Microsoft, Adobe or Cyberlink video programs. If you really can't find anything else running then uninstall the webcam and pay attention to what is being installed when you reinstall it.

Cant get rid of program

It may have put something into the registry so that it will always download and run on start up. You can try the following to get rid of it. 1) Open the registry editor. (To do this, go to Start -> Run and type: regedit ) 2) Browse to the following location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 3) Look at all the keys (items) in this folder. The program you are looking for may be listed here. If you find it, make note of where the file is located and delete the file that is mentioned in the key. Then delete the key. This will keep it form restarting after reboot.
