Same problem. Ive had the camera for bout a month and a half,, and its only happened a few times, I just let it rest then it works. What do i do????? It was a gift so I don't have a warrent.

If you've installed new batteries and cleaned the contacts with no result, then your camera may need service. If you're within the one-year factory warranty, service should be covered.
