Door hinge is very squeaky and loud, and both high-pitched and a ''low grumble'' - a variety of sprays haven't resolved the issue. Does the door have to be removed?

most likely the hinges are partially rusted through. resulting in all of those sounds. i doubt that you could get anyone to replace the hinges for less money that the cost of a new dishwasher so I recommend replacement.
