Minimum graphics specs for Call of Duty 4 is a Nvidia 6800 or a Radion 9800Pro. Your 9250 isn't quite there.

You need another graphics card.

Buy the best card you can, but I don't think you need to go crazy - I've got a nVidia 8500GT and COD4 runs fine for me. If money were no object, go for an 8800 - they are around the fastest available. Whatever you get, make sure the drivers are updated. The CD that comes with the product often does not have the latest drivers available.

I want to replace my X300SE HM 256MB graphic card. What card can I use? My computer system is using Windows XP system and my monitor is a LG model W2361W. the monitor has DVI-D and a HDMI and CRT plugs.

Here is a little info on your card:
It's an entry level card PCIe X 16 slot and 300w power supply required. The real factors in choosing a graphics card are, how much do you want to spend and, what do you want to do with it. The card you have could go in any tower with a PCIe x 16 slot except for maybe mini's, and more than likely, would not require and uppage of power, meaning replacement of power supply(greater). I personally like the Radeon HD cards because they are capable of excellent graphics and will provide sound as well. If you are into the gaming scene, this card will not provide the high end requirements you are looking for but, then again, you woukd also have to up your power supply, to meet the needs of a higher end card. There are alot of different manufacturers of the cards but, basically only two that make the chipsets, ATI/AMD and Nvidia. To stay in the same power range your in now you would go with something like this:
Newegg is a good place to view different cards and their requirements and, if you chose to upgrade even further, they have the power supplies, etc. A card in your range would probably be in the 40.00 to 100.00 price range. You can spend a heck of alot more money on a card and, you can also double and join certain cards to gain the speed, etc., it all depends on how much you want to spend and how much work you want to do to your system. One thing you would want to consider would be a card that has Windows 7 or, at least Windows Vista support.

**Recommend nVidia GeForce 7 Series or higher

Do your PC support the above hardware requirements?
The most common input no support would be your graphic card is not up to the mark to play the PC games.

Is your graphics card drivers up to date to the latest?
Have you updated your DirectX to the latest version?

Hope it helps.

Driver --- ATI rv6p....... please
This is a link for ATI/AMD drivers. In the upper right corner is a window"Download drivers"
1 Component catagory- click on arrow on right, scrool down to "desktop graphics", click on to select.
2 "Product line-click on and scroll down to Radeon 7xxxx series and click to select
3 "Product model-click on and scroll down to Radeon 7000 series and click to select
4 "operating system-click on and select your system
Click on "Show Results". This will give you a list of drivers for your card. Choose the first option and download. Click on run, etc. IT will get to a point where it will ask for Express or Custom install. Choose Express. Restart at finish of install.
*****Note**** you must uninstall all prior ATI/AMD software before you do this, through "programs and Features" Click on ATI Uninstaller, click on next, you want Express unistall which should remove all ATI software. Restart after uninstall the, follow steps above.

Display issue can card's cmos (if any), be reset?

There is no bios on the AGP card. Uninstall the PowerColor driver software including any other software the CD may have installed. Than open this link;
Download RegCure & install. Let RegCure clean your system.
Shut down the system & install your AGP x1550 card. Re-install the driver software. Try playing the game with default settings. Your system & AGP card has more than enough power to play the game. If the game messes up or your system freezes send it back to PowerColor. Its not your system it has to be the card.

Windows games

Call of Duty 1 & 2 should be ok. Call of Duty 3 should run but it depends on wether your graphics card is onboard or not. Call of Duty 4 and World at War are not recommended for your machine.

This is a hardware problem and sorry you won't be able to play the with your current video card configuration .
This problem relates to the vertex shader/pixel shader aspect of the graphic cards.
