its says reading files but then it says it failed...what can i do

i have a new 160gb ipod, and i get the same stupid problem. the people at the store said my ipod would work with it too.

Apprenticeits probly your ipod. the new classics arent compatible with alot of dock connector related acesories. before you get to angry about your ipod try it with some of your friends crappy old ones to see if they work still. if they dont work then take your deck back but if they do work then you might want to take the deck back and try to find a newer model. good luck ; )
