Lens is stuck!... Possible some dust won't let the zoom to move.
Hold upsite down the lens and very softly tapped around.but do not force the lens. then try to turn on in same condition. If did not worked
try to oposite , Show lens optic to up to sky and try again.
If did not moved you need techguy to remove and clean the lens base from dust and lubricated again.
