Question about Bose Lifestyle 12 System

Power off and on again and then no sound present

If I use my system and turn off the power and then want to turn it on again, either right away or a short time latter, there is no sound. Once I disconnect the power plug from the wall or the system it will then have sound. It worked perfect until I moved the system into my new cabnet.

I recently moved my "music center" portion of my system. Until this, I have not had any problems. Now there is no sound coming from any of the speakers or the acoustimass module. I have kept the same inputs/outputs, used and did not move the module or speakers. When attaching headphones to the music center it sounds great(through the headphones), Same result with all inputs and internal cd player & fm tuner.I've double checked everything and hope this is a fixable problem. How can you test the acoustimass module?

I assume pressing the source button on the remote control is how you normally turn it on again, (ie video FM CD etc)

it might be that moving the unit to the cabinite the battery power in the remote ( its not infra red its radio wave thay are not picked up by the fm antenna ) is insufficient to wake it up again,
change the batteries in the remote or try to see if there is some weird reason the cabinet is preventing these remote control radio waves from being recieved by the head unit, try opening the door and bring the remote within a few inches of the head unit and see if it turns on when you pres the cd button.

see how you go from there mate

I have a 2012 Dodge Journey and recently I started hearing a clicking / ticking sound only when I turn from a stopped position and press on the gas both left and right . There is no clicking around...

Take off the hubcaps and test drive it again. If the sound is still present then try tightening the lug nuts. If it goes away, put the hubcaps back on and tap them with a rubber hammer ti seat them firmly.

What sources do you have connected to the receiver? The thing to do is to disconnect your sources one at a time and see if one of those eliminates that hum.

Error: 900 Service , RIP software e340 Printer

Turn the machine off unplug the power cord from it and leave disconnected for 10 mins.
Power back on if error still is present..
Power off again disconnect whatever cables are plugged in (Network cable/ USB) power back on if error error goes away with the cable(s) disconnected replace the usb/cat5 cable(s)
once that's done and the error is still present the system board will need to be replaced.

The protection lite comes on when amp is given powerand sometimes it does not come on but it is still not getting any sound its not my wires they all work for any other amp tell me is my amp fried

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Sounds like you are overloading the amp. Please check speakers impedance. .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you
