Problem for Maytag MSD2758G Side by Side Refrigerator

Refrigerator not cooling: Maytag Plus: Model MSD2756GEQ

I have a Maytag Plus side-by-side refrigerator. Model number: MSD2756GEQ. Here's what's going on...- The refrigerator started getting warmer over the past few days and then the freezer also stopped being as cold as it should be.-The fan on the back is working, but the compressor is hot - not sure if that is normal or not.- There is a loud snapping noise that happens every few minutes and seems to come from the compressor area. Appreciate any help!

Your PTC relay is bad and needs to be replaced. It is on the side of the compressor that connects the wires to it. Cost is about 50 maytag price or you could go with a 3 in 1 cost about 15. If you need any help get back with me and can walk you though it. Ken
