Question about Kitchen Ranges
The oven and broiler had been working. Last used the oven Thanksgiving. Now the oven/broiler won't light. The burners are electric igntion. I don't know about the oven/broiler. The stove came with the apartment and I have never had a problem. We have lived here for a year. Temperature is about 25-50 degrees off but always worked and cooked fine. Can you help?

You probably have a 1940's model of Magic Chef. Check for the model number under the lid of the cook top on the upper right hand side of the stove. It should have the model number and the serial number, too. You will need both. The Old Applicance Club run by Jack Santoro is the place to go along with a site called "Antique gas stoves"in Georgia. Good luck with the world of vintage stoves.
