Question about Xerox Phaser 8400DP Thermal Printer

I have error 37,002.47

It says call service. The printer was working fine but kept jamming so I shut it off. Now it wont go past that error.

Since my company would rather get rid of it than fix it I am desperate for a solution.

Re: I have error 37,002.47

37,002.47 The Left Jetstack is drawing less power than expected

There is a heating failure in the print head.
The only way to resolve that is to replace the print head.
On of the heaters that keeps the ink melted has opened.

Re: I have error 37,002.47

Hi, the error code you are getting refers to not enough current to power up the printer. I would suggest if you have it on a surge protecter, backups, etc . Disconnect the printer and plug it directly into the wall outlet.

Error 37,002,47:118 xerox 8560dn

Error codes starting with 37,002 usually indicates that there is a problem with the printhead (part# 017K04540). This is a major component of the printer and costs around $600 just for the part. If you decide to replace this part, has this item online. Also, here is a video that shows you how to replace it. Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa!

My Kodak ESP 7250 has been working fine but suddenly came up with Error code 6202.

Possible ink cartidge level being less.
Open the printer properties to check on the levels. If not remove the printer and connect once again affer shutting down PC.
If this wont work then remove printer, uninstall and reinstall, then connect to check if the printer is detected and installed.
If not drives are jammed/ the main board has errors..

Paper jam error nothing appears to be in there.

Kept messing with the printer. Took some of it apart. Changed out cartridge. Still found no jam. Turned it on and off multiple times.
Finally it worked. Prayer is all I know that worked.

Xerox Phaser fault 37,002,47:18505

37,0XX.xx Errors - PEST Faults
AC power supplied by power sources such as uninterruptible power supplies
(UPSs) or DC-to-AC inverter systems may not supply correct voltage to
properly power up the printer. Likewise, other devices sharing the same AC
circuit can cause AC voltage sags that cause the printer to fail its AC heater
PEST tests (Print Engine Self Test). The printer may produce any of the
following disconnected heater errors:
■ Printhead jet-stack 37,002.47 or 37,003.48

Error Messages and Codes
■ Reservoir heater, 37,004.40 or 37,005.41
■ Drum heater error 37,006.42
■ Preheater error 37,008.44
■ Ink melters errors 37,009.45 thru 37,013.40
The printer includes several heaters powered by AC. The printer itself can
power up despite insufficient or irregular AC voltage but it may fail its AC
heater tests. This is due the test not measuring sufficient current flowing
through the heater at the moment the test runs.
Devices sharing the printer’s AC circuit shared, such as a laser printer, a
coffee maker, or a space heater, may be placing heavy intermittent demand
on the AC circuit. This sudden inductive demand creates momentary AC
voltage sag that causes the PEST test to fail.
Verify the AC power source prior to troubleshooting these errors. For wiring
diagrams to aid in diagnosing PEST faults, see “Wiring Diagrams” on
page 10-1.
8400/8500/8550/8560 PEST Description
37,001.46: Generic PEST error.
Something went wrong during the PEST process.
37,002.47: PEST Error - Printhead Left jetstack disconnect. The left jetstack is
not drawing the expected power from the supply.
